This women’s Camelbak Luxe pack can be used for mountain biking, hiking, jogging, and traveling. Its total storage capacity is 10 liters. There is also a 3 liter Crux reservoir which holds enough water for a full day of activity.
In order to help protect the environment the water bladder has been made partially of post-consumer recycled materials. The crux reservoir is designed with a quick link for easy connection. Plus it has an ergonomic handle for easy and fast refilling.
There is an on/off lever which increases the probability of preventing any leaks. Camelbak has put the crux through comprehensive stress tests to make certain that it won’t disappoint you on the trails. This brand new crux allows you to sip 20% more water every time you take a drink.
The water bladders drinking tube stays secure and easy to get to because it has a magnetic tube trap. This magnetic tube trap ensures you know where the tube is at all times.
The Camelbak Luxe has been especially designed for women. It has a shorter back panel and an s-curved harness for a clean fit. The torso range is 15 to 19 inches.
There is a panel on one side of the pack which touches your back as you wear it. It directs air as you wear the backpack by using air channels to keep your back cool. The harness is also ventilated to keep you cooler and comfortable.
Along with carrying 100oz of water this backpack offers good storage for snacks, phone, keys, and wallet. For mountain bikers you can carry your helmet by putting it on external hooks located on the backpack, while still having full access to your pack.
In case of bad weather you can store rain gear or an extra layer in the packs stretch overflow storage compartment.
For safety when going through low light environments the pack has reflective accents. Other mountain bikers, hikers, as well as other vehicles will be able to see you better. There is also a removable stable belt which keeps all your things in place and you safer on rough terrain.

Related to Mountain Biking
This first mountain biker got the black and teal colored backpack because she thought it looked upscale. She likes that it has a flat back so she never feels anything in the pack. The hip straps are easily removable and the other straps velcro up so they don’t get tangled or swing around.
This next rider took a spill on a wet trail and landed flat on her back. She said it was the least painful fall she has taken. The pack handled it great, it did not burst or pop open and the fabric did not tear or scratch. She likes all the pockets to keep things organized. She really likes the small pocket on top because it is perfect for keeping a phone or two without needing to dig for it.
The third mountain biker thinks the Camelbak Luxe is a great hydration pack. It is very comfortable because it has breathable s-shaped straps and the latest crux reservoir. She says the reservoir is very easy to clean and store because of its quick detach hose. At the bottom of the reservoir is a separating wall which prevents water from swooshing around even when the water is low in the bladder.
This 4th rider is a real fan of this pack. This Luxe is the fourth one she has bought. She has been using these backpacks for 8 years. Every other year or so she likes to get a new color. She explained that it fits very well on her shoulders and it is light and comfortable. The pack was tested one day when she went over the handlebars. The Camelbak Luxe saved her from serious injury without breaking.
This last woman uses this pack for many activities such as hiking, biking, and skiing. But she mostly uses it for rollerblading. Before using this backpack she used a fanny pack to carry water bottles. This was never enough water. The 100 ounces of water that this Luxe carries is perfect for her.
She loves the multiple storage options. She can easily carry her phone, wallet, keys, small pair of shoes and a sweat shirt if she is hot or cold. The only challenge is hooking the bladder to the loop at the top of the pack. But after some time the loop stretches and it becomes easier to loop.
Poor Customer Experiences Using the Camelbak Luxe Hydration Pack Reviewed
The Camelbak Luxe backpack for ladies has a high rating. But there are always some people who have a negative experience with the product. So in the name of full transparency I have researched them for you. Keep in my these cases are rare.
The first person explained that she thinks she got a defective pack or there is a design error. Because when she places the backpack flat or tilted upside down it leaks.
The next woman said while she is riding about 500ml of water is lost because it leaks onto her back and pack interior. This makes the interior pockets useless for storing electronics and first aid equipment safely.
There must have been some shipping error in regards to the third person. She received a small pack from a different company. Plus the hydration bladder was not included inside.
The fourth woman explained that the size of the pack was fine but she was not able to fit much stuff in it. The material of the pack was stiff and when the bladder was full it took up most of the space.
The next person thought the quality was good and there are a lot of compartments in which to store things. But the zipper for storing the water bladder is uncomfortable. Plus she says the backpack is hard and the weight of the pack is concentrated on her shoulders.
The last person used the Luxe and sealed the hydration bladder just fine. But the next time she used it she was not able to seal the water bladder at all.
Keep in mind these negative reviews do not happen very often. But I think you should be made aware of them. Don’t let them discourage you from considering the Camelbak ladies Luxe pack. Overall it is very good.
